EmpoweRT provides individual recreational therapy sessions within the comfort of your own home. For those interested in getting out of the home, we also facilitate meaningful participation in outdoor and community activities. Regardless of your ability level, we help you achieve your fitness, recreation, and wellness goals. 

Starting at $100/ hour

Hourly rate includes:

  • 1 hour recreational therapy session

  • Therapist travel time and mileage*

  • Therapist time outside of your scheduled sessions  (i.e., planning, documentation)

  • Access to adaptive equipment during session

        * Additional fees apply for extensive travel  ​

Our Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) administers several valid and reliable assessment tools that provide invaluable insight into the whole person. Qualitative and quantitative results are summarized into a Wellness Executive Summary to keep you, your Primary Care Physician, and appropriate health professionals informed. Thus, driving better informed health care decisions leading to improved patient outcomes.

Empower Recreational Therapy partners with Aloha to Aging, Inc. to offer Delay the Disease programming.  Weekly classes empower people with PD through symptom-specific exercises that promote improved physical, cognitive, and emotional outcomes.

Adaptive Kayaking 

Empower Recreational Therapy partners with Catalyst Sports to offer adaptive kayaking at Morgan Falls Park in Sandy Springs. Group and private sessions are available to schedule. Adaptive kayaking is a great way to connect with nature, while working on upper body and core strength and conditioning.
